Rock Band rips off Guitar Freaks and Drummania (that’s one game), as well as Guitar Hero (their own game, which has ripped off Guitar Freaks, which is half of Guitar Freaks and Drummania) and Karaoke Revolution (again, their own game)

Guitar Hero (now developed by a different company) rips off Rock Band, which has ripped off Guitar Freaks and Drummania, Guitar Hero (which is a ripoff of Guitar Freaks), and Karaoke Revolution

Obviously I know a greater number of standards designers that use Rails so it’s not to say the “world” is shifting, but the meat is in the comments—where a lot of us seem to have the same reasoning for choosing Django.

Serving Javascript Fast

Serving Javascript Fast:
Cal doesn’t only talk about serving Javascript fast, but a lot of other things as well. While it goes over the masters of the field like the Final Fantasies, Xengoears and Chrono Trigger; it also touches upon a few of my personal favorites, especially Phantasy Star IV: The End of the Millennium.

Some games it doesn’t seem to even approach are the Tales’ series by Namco, Symphonia and Abyss being two of my favorites from that genre. I’d have to add Lost Odyssey to that list as well, even if it hasn’t been out long enough to become a mainstay in the genre.

Video
