A nice, albeit short article about why a lot of us are choosing Django. Obviously I know a greater number of standards designers that use Rails so it’s not to say the “world” is shifting, but the meat is in the comments—where a lot of us seem to have the same reasoning for choosing Django.

The 20 Essential JRPGs:

Japanese RPGs are my favorite genre, and this article does a great job covering some of my favorites and some that I’ve never had the chance to play. While it goes over the masters of the field like the Final Fantasies, Xengoears and Chrono Trigger; it also touches upon a few of my personal favorites, especially Phantasy Star IV: The End of the Millennium.

Some games it doesn’t seem to even approach are the Tales’ series by Namco, Symphonia and Abyss being two of my favorites from that genre. I’d have to add Lost Odyssey to that list as well, even if it hasn’t been out long enough to become a mainstay in the genre.
